On November 10, Ozians descended upon Shiz University for the Los Angeles premiere of Universal Pictures highly-anticipated movie musical event Wicked (part 1) directed by Jon M. Chu (who was unable to attend the premiere because his wife was in labor!) and starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glina.
It was a glorious buffet of pink and green as the biggest names in Hollywood came to celebrate the premiere including Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth who originated the roles of Elphaba and Glina in the Broadway production over two decades ago.
