DAF Day is October 10

We are proud to be participating in the first-ever DAF Day!

A new day of giving to educate and inspire individuals to give through their Donor-Advised Funds.

What Is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?

A DAF is a charitable savings account that gives you the flexibility to recommend grants to GLAAD and other qualified charities. This unique giving vehicle allows you to make an immediate impact on accelerating acceptance of the LGBTQ community and create a legacy of philanthropy.

You can also create a lasting legacy by naming GLAAD the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of your DAF. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending grants to charitable organizations. Contact your fund administrator for a beneficiary form.

How Does a DAF Work?

A Donor-Advised fund allows you to set aside assets for charitable purposes while receiving an immediate tax benefit. Once you’ve established a DAF, you have the flexibility to decide when and where the funds should be distributed to support organizations like GLAAD.
