The wait is almost over. Ahead of the season 3 premiere of Somebody Somewhere on Sunday, October 27th, HBO has just dropped a brand new trailer of the GLAAD Media Award nominated and Peabody Award-winning comedy. Watch it here:
Somebody Somewhere stars and was written and executive produced by the multi-talented Bridget Everett. The series follows Sam (Everett), a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggling to fit the hometown mold. Grappling with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam’s saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don’t fit in but don’t give up, showing that finding your people, and finding your voice, is possible. Anywhere. Somewhere. In season three, we see growth against all odds.
The series has an all star cast including Everett and LGBTQ icons Tim Bagley, Jeff Hiller, and Murray Hill, as well as Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Mudge, Mercedes White, Meighan Gerachis, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
The show has been described as “laugh out loud funny” and “hypnotizing” by Rolling Stone and Daily Beast called it “TV’s sweetest slice of life.”
This premiere is bittersweet with it being the third and final season of the beloved show. For years it has brought much needed midwestern LGBTQ representation to the screen.
Don’t miss the third season of Somebody, Somewhere, premiering October 27th at 10:30-11:00pm ET/PT on HBO and Max. Catch up on the first two seasons now!
