On Thursday, August 1st, KINO, an all-new app revolutionizing the way we experience film, will host an exclusive digital premiere of the queer dramatic thriller, Ganymede.
Ganymede, a dark and meaningful story that follows a high school senior (Jordan Doww) as he develops a crush on his openly gay classmate (Pablo Castelblanco) who finds himself in the thralls of a vicious faceless creature. Lee tries to navigate his feelings while struggling with intense familial pressure to live up to an impossible standard set by his legacy-obsessed family in the rural south.

The premiere will kick off with a pre-show hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race fan-favorites Manila Luzon and Plane Jane as well as drag artist Glitteress. The screening will be followed by a live Q&A session, a chance to win props and prizes, an exclusive interview with the film’s cast and crew, and additional special appearances. Attendees are also invited to enjoy specialty Serv Vodka cocktails and mocktails to accompany the experience.
Tickets are available here and proceeds from the event will benefit GLAAD and further its mission to acclerate acceptance for LGBTQ people.

The live digital premiere will begin at 6:00 PM PT on August 1, 2024. Anyone unable to attend the digital premiere can catch Ganymede streaming on KINO until 6:00 AM PT on August 3, 2024.
