President, Family Watch International
—Cofounded Family Watch International, an international outreach group with an intense focus on Africa and the United Nations, and which the Southern Poverty Law Center designated as a hate group.
—Trains African politicians how to campaign against sex education and LGBT rights, and claims that comprehensive sexuality education is “abortion, promiscuity and LGBT rights education.”
—Signed a letter denouncing the U.S. State Department’s LGBT rights initiative (under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton) that supported a Pride festival in Prague “to address discriminatory behavior based on sexual orientation and to promote a tolerant civil society and equal opportunities in the Czech Republic.” The letter denounced the Obama administration for “aggressively promoting the ‘gay’ agenda internationally” and leading a campaign of “cultural imperialism.”
—Wrote that LGBTQ people are disease-prone, “significantly more promiscuous,” and “significantly more likely to engage in pedophilia.”
—Claimed LGBTQ rights advocates are focused on children: “They know if they can raise up the next generation and indoctrinate them in their radical gender and sexual ideologies, they will have the culture, they will have the future, they will have the government.”
—Directed homemade anti-LGBTQ documentaries The War on Children: The Comprehensive Sexuality Education Agenda and Understanding Same-Sex Attraction which falsely claims LGBTQ people are not “born gay” and advocates for dangerous and debunked conversion therapy.
The GLAAD Accountability Project catalogs anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and discriminatory actions of politicians, commentators, organization heads, religious leaders, and legal figures, who have used their platforms, influence and power to spread misinformation and harm LGBTQ people.
