The MTV Video Music awards air tonight. Among the nominees are out musicians Lil Nas X, girl in red, Miley Cyrus, Willow, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga and Halsey. Lil Nas X will also perform at the awards and out actors Billy Porter and Megan Fox are among the presenters. 2021 MTV VMAs: Sunday, 8pm on MTV.
New sci-fi series Y: The Last Man premieres Monday on Hulu. The show follows the world after a catastrophic even that takes out every mammal with a Y chromosome except one. The cast included trans actor Elliot Fletcher as trans character Sam. Y: The Last Man: Monday on Hulu.
The third season of Netflix’s Sex Education drops on Friday. The show includes gay character Eric in the main ensemble and continues to explore his relationship with fellow student Adam. Word of the “sex school” gets out as a new head teacher tries to control a rambunctious student body and Otis attempts to hide his secret hookup. Sex Education: Friday on Netflix.
