New Fox sitcom Call Me Kat premieres this Sunday before moving to Thursdays. The show focuses on the titular Kat who uses her savings to open a cat café, against her mother’s wishes. Out actor Leslie Jordan is in the cast as Phil, the baker for the café who is working on moving on after his breakup with his longtime partner. Call Me Kat: Sunday, 8pm and Thursday, 9pm on Fox.
The second season of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist premieres this Tuesday on NBC. The musical comedy show includes out actor Alex Newell in the cast as Zoey’s supportive friend and neighbor, Mo. In season two opener, Zoey returns to the world after an extended time away and discovers that a lot has changed at work and in her personal life in her absence. The second season of Apple TV+’s Dickinson will be released this Friday on the streaming platform. The show audaciously explores the constraints of society, gender, and family from the perspective of rebellious queer young poet Emily Dickinson. Dickinson: Friday, on Apple TV+.
