The season one finale of Batwoman airs Sunday night on The CW. The first season has made history by being the first superhero show with a title lesbian superhero. In the finale, Batwoman and Commander Kane find themselves on the defensive when a former hero of Gotham returns to settle a score. Meanwhile, Alica has reason to believe she has finally discovered the weakness that could take down Batwoman, but she is spinning out of control as she struggles to hold onto her power. In a final standoff, Kane refuses to back down from his war on Batwoman, and Kate may find herself more than heartbroken by her father’s choices. Batwoman: Sunday, 8pm on The CW.
Hightown premieres Sunday night on Starz, a new drama set in Provincetown with a lesbian lead character. In the premiere, National Marine Fishery Services agent Jackie Quiñones (out bi actress Monica Raymund) has a wrench thrown in her fun and hard partying lifestyle when she uncovers a dead body on the beach, plunging her into the center of a complicated and dangerous opioid ring investigation. On Wednesday, Ben Platt Live from Radio City Music Hall will be released on Netflix. The concert film shows the out singer and actor in his sold-out show in the famous venue from September of 2019, where he is at the final stop of his tour for his debut album Sing to Me Instead. The season finale of Motherland: Fort Salem airs Wednesday night, the series core cast includes queer characters and fan favorite couple Raelle and Scylla. In the finale, Raelle, Abigail, and Tally graduate from basic training; Alder eyes the unit for a rescue mission; and Anacostia and Scylla find common ground.
