The 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be held Sunday Night in Los Angeles, and air on NBC. The awards, honoring outstanding work in film and television include several LGBTQ nominees, including Billy Porter for Pose, Beanie Feldstein for Booksmart, Ben Platt for The Politician, and Andrew Scott for Fleabag. Other LGBTQ-inclusive nominees include films Rocketman, Pain and Glory, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, and TV series, Killing Eve, The Politician, and Fleabag. 77th Annual Golden Globes: Sunday, 8pm ET/5pm PT on NBC.
The sixth and final season of GLAAD Media Award-nominated comedy Schitt’s Creek premieres Tuesday on Pop TV. The fifth season left off with the engagement of queer couple David (out co-creator Dan Levy) and Patrick (Noah Reid), and the new season promises their nuptials. The first season of new Netflix comedy AJ and the Queen will be released on Netflix this Friday. The show follows drag queen Ruby Red, who loses everything and embarks on a road trip to tour drag clubs with the unlikely companion AJ, a stowaway 11-year-old. AJ and the Queen: Friday on Netflix.
