Media Awards: The 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in 2008 will recognize and honor news and entertainment media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and the issues that affect our lives. The Media Awards are held in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and South Florida in the spring. More than 150 media outlets cover the events which are attended by over 5,000 guests. Community Events Series: Informal parties that take place in various markets across the country, these events are well-attended by leaders in the LGBT, entertainment and philanthropic communities, board members and major donors. These social events afford guests the opportunity to learn more about GLAAD's work in an intimate environment. Sponsorship levels start at $5,000.
