    Beyond #Spirit Day Concert

Spirit Day is an annual awareness day observed in October. dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ youth and their families. Initially created in 2010 as response bullying related suicides, this campaign was elevated by GLAAD to ensure this community has a means of visibility and existence that is continuous and impactful, year after year.

The signature color, purple, is observed as a sign of support for these communities on this day, in addition to a pledge against bullying, and a variety of social media campaigns that highlight ways to empower and encourage the next LGBTQ+ generation throughout the month, including the Spirit Day Concert.
