—Complained about a Burger King ad in Finland marking Pride week in Helsinki in 2020, saying, “This stunt by Burger King has nothing to do with selling burgers and fries and everything to do with selling perversion and the left’s sexual agenda.” He adds, despite the ad being in Finland, not the United States, “The question is will cultural Marxism and sexual perversion conquer truth and our Biblical Judeo-Christian values that have made America strong but are now under withering attacks by these leftists.”

—Claimed a Pete Buttigieg presidency or vice presidency would be disastrous for Christians. His success in the 2020 Democratic polling was evidence of America’s decline “morally and spiritually,” and that he’d be a bad role model for children who would “be indoctrinated even further into thinking that it’s acceptable, normal, and OK that instead of having a first lady or a second lady, we would have, I suppose, a first husband for a man.”

—Called Buttigieg’s faith “fake Christianity.”

—Called drag queen story hour at public libraries or bookstores “mental rape” of children. He said, “The left is now willingly putting these children in harm’s way…. They are not telling them the immense health risks of homosexual behavior. So many issues on just health alone, not to mention morality and where the souls of these children are headed if they’re promoted into this sinful lifestyle.”

—Organized a group of anti-LGBTQ activists to a poorly-attended “Repeal Obergefell” rally in front of the U.S. Supreme Court to assail the marriage equality decision of four years prior.

—Obergefell, he said, was a “wicked” Court decision.

—The Southern Poverty Law Center declared Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) to be a hate group.

—Said: “Let’s be clear: besmirching the good name of ‘marriage’ by attaching it to unholy, sodomitic relationships is about as far from noble ‘conservatism’ as you can get. ‘Gay marriage,’ an oxymoron and an ahistorical absurdity, preserves and conserves nothing for the good. But it does help normalize the revolutionary, misguided idea that homosexual relationships are on a moral par with natural marriage between husband and wife.”

—Believes: “As America and the West rapidly de-Christianize, the physical, spiritual, and moral threats to our children rise, seemingly in inverse proportion to the expanding godless chaos. The LGBTQ movement, essentially a powerful, well-marketed sin movement, is right up there with radical feminists in tearing down centuries-old norms and our children’s innocence in the process.”

—In 2013, gave a speech in Jamaica telling that nation to preserve its laws criminalizing homosexuality.

—In 2011, said that “organized evil” and “homosexuality-embracing conservatives” are helping gay Americans drag “America into a cultural pit” and are even more harmful “to the cause of Truth than a thousand burly men in high heels strutting down Main Street.” 

—Went after one marriage campaign for being too respectful to gays: “We need to stop conceding the moral high ground in a fearful bid to appear tolerant’: one pro-family group, Protect Marriage Maine, asserted that ‘same-sex couples are entitled to respect’—a claim at odds with historic Scriptural teaching. While Christians should respect all persons as made in God’s image, we must never ‘respect’ behaviors and relationships grounded in sexual sin.”

—Claimed that when President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton advocate for equal protections for LGBTQ people abroad, they are “spitting in God’s eye.”

—Called equality for gay Americans “one of the most spectacularly successful anti-God movements in human history.”

—Said lesbian Senator Tammy Baldwin is “hardly a role model for young women, we want women to embrace marriage and healthy, wholesome behaviors, not lesbianism.” 

—Said of gay soldiers affectionately greeting their loved ones: “Only a decaying society pretends that homosexual relationships are morally equivalent to normal, male-female couples.”

—Compared the alleged dangers of being gay to those of “smoking, alcohol and drug abuse.” Similarly, AFTAH’s website carries essays describing being gay as a “lethal behavior addiction,” a “dangerous” practice that is “neither normal nor benign.” 

—Said “old people” know that “homosexuality is evil.”

—Claimed “every homosexual triumph is a Pyrrhic victory because it elevates a destructive and immoral perversion to the realm of noble-sounding ‘civil rights.’”

—Claimed: “The homosexual so-called marriage movement is evil…. We need to do what Reagan did with communism, we need to come right out there and say: this movement attaching the God-ordained good of marriage to an abomination which is homosexuality, calling that marriage, that’s evil, it’s an evil movement.” 

—Demanded: “Faithful and compassionate Christians must NEVER encourage or sanction homosexual relationships, which are—another hard truth here—essentially the domestication of disordered and sinful behavior, hence destructive to the souls of those involved.”
